Inspiration: Rooted Together was inspired by the way aspens appear as individual trees above ground while remaining connected through a shared root system beneath the surface. I wanted to use that as a metaphor for mental health and the importance of connection. The roots weave through words such as trust, acceptance, kindness, presence, support, peace, and harmony—reminders of the things that help sustain us and one another. At the center is joy, because even through struggle, I believe connection can help us find our way back to it.
