Artist Bio: Crested Butte based watercolor & design produced by Zach Bauer daily.  Inspired by the West Slope and it’s neighboring landscapes and communities.
The call to create, design, and inhabit the inspiring landscapes comes from living each day in the vast outdoors. Crested Butte’s aesthetic appeal as well as the surrounding areas provides plenty impetus for creation and realization of vision.  Each work has a story or moment of clarity behind it: attempting to activate the nature that is the setting for the ideas to form.  Zach Bauer has been a resident in Gunnison Valley since 2004, and graduated from Western State University in 2009 with a B.F.A.  As an avid snowboarder and mountain biker, he seeks inspiration often through playing with gravity in the immense playground of the valley and surrounding area.
