Title: You're Enough
Artist: Cierra Rohrbaugh
Medium: Graphite, pen, and ink

Inspiration: "You're Enough" shows three aspen trees growing from one root system, marked by decades of carvings - a shared diary of initials, dates, all the ways that we try to prove that we were here, and we matter. In the middle of the noise, one clear voice: YOU'RE ENOUGH. Beside them, a small, crooked sign asks: PLEASE STAY ON TRAIL. The pairing expresses how the forest reminds us to stay on course, and how the grove - a single living body beneath the soil - reminds us that we do not walk alone.

Artist Bio: Cierra Rohrbaugh (b.1995, WichitaFalls, Texas) is an artist based in Gunnison, Clorado. Her practice is rooted in in landscape, material, and the elements, with a sustained attention to loss, change and anomaly as sights of transformation. 

Born with Nystagmus, a rare neuroogical condition affecting visual perception, Rohrbaugh developed an early sensitivity to irregulary, rythym, and instability - a way of seeing that continues to inform her work. After moving to Colorado at the Age of nine, the mountain landscape becaume central to her practice. 

Rohrbaugh earned her B.F.A. from Western State Colorado University and her M.F.A. from New Mexico State University. In undergraduate study, she created sight specific installations examining perception and embodied experience. During Graduate school, amid the isolaton of the pandemic, she produscedvussel forms that hed absemce - surragates for human touch and the need for physical connection. 

Rohrbaugh is a full-time art professor at her alma matter, Western Colorado University. Her current studio practice spans commissioned work, illustration, and conceptual practice grounded in place.
