Title: Boundaries for Pando
Artist: Lyca
Medium: Watercolor

Inspiration: This piece speaks to the changes in who has protected Pando, the world's largest single Aspen tree, and arguably the world's largest organism. Pre-industrialization, wolves' gaze protected Pando from deer and other ungulates over-browsing the gigantic, single-being Grove. Today, fencing keep deer and elk out. Who is keeping your inner being safe, today and in generations past? How has this altered your psyche?

Artist Bio: Lyca Roush is a mixed media poet, creating in concert with species during this moment of great loss and change.
